Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-04-26
These Terms govern your use of RunbookGuard (the "App"), published by WebCorrect Pro ("we", "us") and distributed through the Atlassian Marketplace.
1. Marketplace Terms apply
The App is distributed under the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use. Those terms govern licensing, billing, support response times, and Atlassian's role as the reseller. These supplemental Terms apply only where the Marketplace Terms expressly defer to the publisher.
2. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and the Marketplace Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App within your Atlassian Cloud instance for the duration of your subscription.
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where permitted by applicable law
- Use the App to scan Atlassian instances or AWS accounts you do not have authorization to scan
- Resell or sublicense the App
3. Acceptable use
The App makes outbound calls to your own AWS account using credentials you provide. You are responsible for granting the App only the AWS permissions described in our documentation (read-only Describe*, List*, Get*), ensuring you have authorization to scan the Confluence content the App reads, and the accuracy of the email address you configure for the weekly digest.
We are not liable for AWS API costs incurred by the App's inventory fetches. Inventory calls are read-only and do not modify resources.
4. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You should not rely on the App as the sole signal that infrastructure is or is not in use. Findings are advisory; verify before deleting AWS resources or modifying runbooks based on a finding.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you paid us (via the Atlassian Marketplace) in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100 if the App is offered free of charge.
6. Termination
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Atlassian Cloud instance. Atlassian deletes all Forge data within 30 days of uninstall. We may suspend access for material breach of these Terms or the Marketplace Terms.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version is always at this URL. Material changes that reduce your rights will be announced via the digest email recipient on file with at least 30 days' notice.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
